See instantly if you're in range of a wireless network

With AirPort, Apple computers handle WiFi pretty well. Still it would be nice to have more details sometimes. coconutWiFi is a menu bar item, in the form of a little bubble, with information on all wireless networks close to you.

If there's an unencrypted and open network in range, the little bubble in your menu bar will be green. If not, it will be either yellow or red.

Next to the bubble coconutWiFi shows the number of wireless connections that are available. Open up the drop down menu by clicking on the bubble and you'll be able to get information on each individual network like channel or BBSID.

coconutWiFi displays a small aqua-bubble at the top of your screen which indicates whether you're in range of a wireless network or not. The app also tells you if the wireless networks in your range are encrypted or open, so you won't miss the next open wireless network any more.
